Our Mission – to protect and restore birds, other wildlife, and their habitats – guides how ASCM manages its two sanctuaries. Your donation ensures good stewardship and the public enjoyment of these beautiful places. 

With no paid staff and no government funding, ASCM depends entirely on the generous contributions of our supporters, and the passion, time, and talents of volunteers. Your donations ensure that we can continue to serve the public and wildlife by: 

• Continuing free monthly nature walks accessible to everyone,

• Controlling invasive plants to protect the integrity of the wildlife habitat,

• Planting native trees, shrubs, and flowering plants that provide food and shelter for birds and many other types of wildlife,

• Maintaining bluebird trails, purple martin poles, and chimney swift towers, which contribute data to community science projects, and

• Providing well-maintained public trails, parking areas, and areas of respite.

All donations are tax-deductible and are used 100 percent to support ASCM's Mission.
