From 2004 through the 2009-2010 school year, the Audubon Society of Central Maryland offered cash grants to schools and other organizations in our area. These grants helped primary and secondary school students to develop native plant and wildlife gardens and habitats at their schools and other locations. This program was well-received, benefiting all involved in creating and maintaining these gardens.

THE ASCM BOARD HAS VOTED TO REACTIVATE THIS PROGRAM FOR 2012!

Primary and secondary schools and nature centers located anywhere in Carroll, Frederick and Howard counties and in the northern Montgomery County ZIP Codes that are within the ASCM field of membership are eligible to apply for one of the $600.00 grants funded this year.
